Mijn visie op coaching is gestoeld op Vertrouwen, Respect en Veiligheid. Dat zijn voor mij de pijlers van het fundament onder coaching. Zonder deze pijlers wordt er gebouwd op los zand en zal er niets ontstaan.
De belangrijkste pijler is zonder twijfel het vertrouwen. Vertrouwen geeft ruimte om kwetsbaar te kunnen zijn. Zonder vertrouwen kan er geen goed functionerend gesprek ontstaan. Een coachee zal zich kwetsbaar aan mij toevertrouwen en daarmee schenkt hij zijn vertrouwen aan mij. Daar ga ik respectvol en zonder oordeel mee om. Alleen zo ontstaat veiligheid. Deze veiligheid beschouw ik als diepste pijler van coaching. Alleen bij een gevoel van veiligheid ontstaat ruimte om te groeien.
